Garrett and Katherine have known each other since first grade. Yes, it is almost their whole lives. Now it is time to move on to the new exciting beginning. Garrett planned this two months ago. He wanted to propose to Katherine who loves backpacking and hiking on top of a beautiful mountain. Yes, that was his plan - Camping at Grandfather Mountain the night before and hike to the top of Calloway Peak the next morning. When he reached out to me and discussed all his plan, I was super excited and definitely would love to help him and capture the special surprise.
We had emailed back and forth and talked on the phone to make it perfect. We texted back and forth on the day (Thank God, I could get the cell signals there. ) I felt like I was a special secret agent. Hahahaha. I had been told that the hiking trail could be very strenuous. I’m not really an experienced hiker, but I am always confident about my physical strength. I got to the top a lot earlier and easier than I expected. ( I was very proud of myself. ) I was waiting for them to arrive. Here they are with their huge backpacks on.
