I am so thankful and grateful that I am trusted and got to have so many connections through referrals. Austin and Emily are friends of Rod and Hannah that I took engagement photos of. I also shot their dearest friends, Louis and Annamaria’s wedding in The Ivy Place. They trusted me and loved my photography work, and referred them to me for their weddings. Austin and Emily actually didn’t need engagement photos, however, after seeing Rod and Hannah’s engagement photos, they decided to take them and we did it. Their engagement session was absolutely adorable and fun. Please, check it out. Their wedding was held in Skyline Lodge in Highland, NC which is an amazing place with the beautiful mountain view. It is also a great place for family vacation with dogs.

The Sun was shinning so brightly as if it had been celebrating Austin and Emily’s special day. They did a first look before the ceremony to save time and spend extra time with the guests during the cocktail hour. I did think that was a great idea, too. The first look was very private. Just they and I were there on top of the mountain to have a romantic and private moment. Austin was stunned to see how gorgeous Emily looked. I would be stunned, too, if I was a man. Oh, of course, Austin was absolutely handsome and looked amazing, too. They are definitely meant to be for each other.

Here comes their dog, Chai! He’s a cute golden retriever that has the sweetest personality. He was all dressed up for their wedding. The ceremony was filled with laughters and tears. I have never seen a groom that cried so much like him. How sweet he is! Their reception kept going on and on with lots of energy. People were just enjoying every little moment of their special day not even noticing I was there photographing their dancing away all night.
